What you get

  • 2022 and 2027 rules side by side
  • Supervised and Concentrated
  • The numbers for each monthly verification form

Why both rule sets

The rules that apply depend on the day you apply, not when you earned the hours. Apply on or after 1 Jan 2027 and every month you've logged, including 2025 and 2026, must meet the 2027 rules (observation minutes, a 160-hour cap, 7.5% for Concentrated). Apply before and the 2022 rules apply (contacts, one observation, 130 hours). This sheet checks both, every month.

What's included (7 tabs)

  • Start Here: 4-step setup, the rules it checks, and how to clear the example
  • Dashboard: hours that count toward 2,000 under each rule set, unrestricted %, months that don't count and why, your "done around" month at your recent pace, your 5-year window, and a 24-month chart
  • This month so far (on the Dashboard): hours to 20, supervision hours to add (and how many individual), contacts and observation minutes left
  • Fieldwork Log: up to 3,000 entries in any order: date, start, end, experience, independent / individual or group supervision / observation only, restricted or unrestricted, observed with a client, supervisor, setting and summary
  • Monthly Check: every month for every experience: hours, supervision %, individual %, contacts, observations, observed minutes, unrestricted hours, and ✓ or ✗ with the reason under each rule set
  • Month Form: pick a month and an experience for the numbers on the BACB's Monthly Fieldwork Verification Form (independent, supervised, total, % supervised) under both rule sets, plus that month's entries to print
  • Experiences: up to 10 sites (Supervised or Concentrated, individual supervisor or several at one organization, contract date) and 20 supervisors

How it checks

  • Each month, per experience: 20 hours minimum; 130 (2022) or 160 (2027) maximum, past which only the maximum counts; supervision 5% (Supervised) or 10% / 7.5% (Concentrated); at least half of supervision individual; 4 or 6 contacts and 1 observation (2022); 60 or 90 observed minutes (2027).
  • Totals: Supervised hours + Concentrated hours × 1.33 toward 2,000, with 60% unrestricted overall.
  • Red rows don't count until fixed: missing details, an end before the start, a date before the contract was signed, or a session that overlaps another.
